Preserve the appeal of your wood’s natural appearance with WOODguard^®, our highly durable wood preservative stain backed by over 30 years of proven performance.  By penetrating deeply into the wood on log homes and log siding, this oil-based formula provides exceptional water repellency and protection against termites and damaging UV rays.  In fact, with an easy one-coat application, WOODguard works to vigorously protect your wood without forming a film that will crack or peel.

EXCEPTIONAL WATER REPELLENCY

WOODguard is an oil-based formula that provides long-term protection and water repellency by penetrating deeply into the wood.

APPLICATION VERSATILITY

WOODguard is ideally suited for log homes, shingle and shake roofs, siding and fences, especially rough-sawn lumber, old weathered wood, and new porous woods. Not intended for use on decks.

PROVEN DECAY/FUNGUS PREVENTION

WOODguard effectively prevents surface blue stain, fungi, molds and mildew.

EXCELLENT TERMITE/INSECT CONTROL

WOODguard protects against insects including termites and anobiid powderpost beetles.

UV PROTECTION

WOODguard contains colorless UV blockers to help ensure that long-term exposure to sunlight won't strip wood of natural oils and beauty.  For even more UV protection, pigmented WOODguard also contains micronized trans-oxides.

ONE-COAT APPLICATION

From the first application, WOODguard begins protecting your wood.  On new construction, we generally recommend a second coat within 2 to 4 years.

BREATHABLE FINISH

WOODguard forms a semi-transparent, weather-resistant polymer film that protects the finish and allows the logs to breathe.

CHOICE OF COLORS

WOODguard is available in Clear and six colors.

PLEASE NOTE: The samples shown above are not an exact representation of true colors. Colors for WOODguard and WOODguard XL generally look very similar, although in some cases, WOODguard XL colors can appear more vivid. Many factors can impact the end result with stain colors, including the wood’s color, the specific application, how the wood was cleaned, even an individual’s subjective view of the color.  Upon request, ISK Biocides will happily supply product samples for testing on actual wood pieces to help our customers determine the WOODguard color best suited to their needs.

VOC-COMPLIANT IN ALL 50 STATES
